New Releases and The Session

Last weekends magic convention THE SESSION was a great success! Both myself and Ben Williams attended as one of the few dealers invited for the event. Not only did we enjoy meeting many of our regular online customers ( It's great to put faces to the names) but we loved the lectures too! Alan Ackermans lecture was the highlight for us, SUPERB MAGIC!!
The real hit item at The Session was our very own DVD release 'Labelled'. As this was an event for serious close up performers, we had a feeling that this would be the case. Ben demonstrated it all day long and our only regret was we wish we had brought more copies with us ( DOH!!)

This week we have PACKED the shop with new items. Our favourites have to be Steve Bedwell's excellent DVD 'Taped' - Linking Laces for a great impromptu effect and the book 'Designing Illusions' by Darwin Ortiz, the follow-on to one of the best magic books ever written on the subject of improving the presentation of magic - 'Strong Magic' .

The 1st of February brings with it the new release from Jay Sankey :

Hatching - Now Available

Well, another new year starts and we have a feeling it's going to be a good one for magic!
The shop is already running out of room, so over the next few months we will be looking for a new location for the magic studio. The new shop will not only have it's own filming studio, but also a venue for magic lectures and events throughout the year. We will keep you fully informed as the project develops.

This week we are really excited about the new release of HATCHING. At first I was sceptical of the effect as I thought it would not be practical for professional use. BOY WAS I WRONG!
