Magicians Against Piracy

This week The Merchant of Magic has been helped by the great people behind Magicians Against Piracy (M.A.P)

M.A.P are fighting illegal magic files and media on the web. They aim to help professional magicians and magic creators preserve their work and livelihoods.

Unfortunately, many people today are damaging the viability of a small market such as magic, by distributing illegal 'stolen' media through the Internet.

M.A.P helps by investigating and informing the creators and authorities about the location of websites, links, and people involved in this kind of activity.

Ali Bongo, 1929 - 2009

Ali Bongo passed away on Sunday, 8th March 2009. Richard Pinner has created a remembrance website dedicated to Ali Bongo, showing obituaries and providing a 'Visitor's Book' and a 'Photo Gallery'. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27th in Surrey. www.pongolia.co.uk
