Effect The magician removes a blue backed card from his pocket and places it on the table. "What we have here is a prediction of sorts. We will come back to that in a moment."Then, a red deck of cards is introduced and the spectator freely chooses a card."Now, what is the first number between 1 & 1000 that enters your mind?"The spectator states their number."OK, I will date your card, and please take this pen, and write your number on your card." This is done, and the card is left face up on the table. "Now, the prediction card, from a different deck, which was placed on the table before we even began." The prediction is turned face up. Not only is it exactly the same card as the selection, but it has exactly the same number written on it!! All may be examined and the spectator may keep both cards as a memento.
