A modern visual artist and underground illusionist; born from absolute deception, once surviving from intricate short-cons on the streets and in betting rooms across the world. In April 2000 Daniel was banned from UK casinos on claims that he was using a memory technique commonly known as card counting to cheat at Black Jack, following the ban, Daniel found his way into an underground poker scene where his deceptions would continue. After 6 months as a card-cheat, the repercussions of an exposed sleight of hand technique landed Daniel on life support in hospital. During his recovery, Daniel discharged himself from hospital and spent a further 6 months in a wheelchair. His life as a poker-cheat had ended. 
After having his debut lecture notes rejected by the magic circle for not being known in the mainstream industry, Daniel hosted a private lecture at a major 2005 convention for an invite-only-audience [ ONE ] It was the success of this lecture that launched Daniel into the underground spectrum of the industry as a definitive artist. A year later Daniel was approached by the convention organisers to lecture as one of the main headliners, Daniel happily rejected the offer but still attended the convention for a private jamming session where he would display his effects from the follow up lecture [ TWO ]
As a definitive artist of the underground magic scene, Daniel continues a successful career offering training for illusionists, consultancy and management for magicians across the world, security training and consultation for casinos. |
