REVIEWS "...Daniel's views and opinions of our art have, personally, been an inspiration. Although, the few of us who see the true direction that our art is headed, looking through the eyes of the Devil is no easy task. Nor should it be taken lightly. Collateral has broken the mold, in my humble opinion, and as the reader slowly continues the journey through the mind of our Mr. Madison, We die, by choice. We choose it. Death is only the candle being put out, fore the dawn is here. Death is an awaking, The Devil has said, "Magic is Dead without the Magician, Without the Magician, Magic s Dead." I look at this as, That Magic is perfect, it is as it should be, But we, the 'Magician,' have messed it up. Magic is dead, yet nothing can happen more beautiful than death. Let me start off by saying that I will proudly insert a few of these effects from Collateral, in my working set. First, Daniel has really let all hell break loose with this book. The effects published here are ridiculous. I do believe in my heart that, in Daniel's left brain he has little imps, holding their decks running around and chasing little fuzzy triangles. I wish I could create magic like this. Daniel is really giving you pearls here. From being able to make all the gimmicks you need (witch is one thing I have always respected) to being able to always have access to them and never be left with your pants down, unless you are into that sort of thing. Daniel's teaching is set above par as usual. With close to 200 Crystal clear and precise photos, showing the proper angles and placements, D has made it easier than ever to understand what is going on behind the scenes. Along with his 'afterthoughts' giving you ideas for variations and personal thoughts, his walk though and explanations are only comparable to how only Daniel can do it. Wonderful like no other.
