Getting a prediction onto a spectator's body is not easy. Until Now.
WINNER OF THE iTRICKS 2008 TRICK OF THE YEARRich has been writing on spectators for years. In fact, when he walked into the Ellusionist Studio to film the project, he walked up to Brad Christian and instantly tagged Brad.
Brad had no idea. No one EVER does. So, go forth and TAG people my friend. Let them be TAGGED.
• Get your number on a girl's arm and as you walk away, say, 'Oh, can I give you my number?' • Have someone think of any word or image and have it appear on them. • Have one person send a thought to someone else and the thought they 'send' materializes onto the receiving spectator... • A selected card appears on a spectator... • A dictionary is borrowed!... the pages are flipped through and you are told to stop. THEY point to a word, it is written on them. This is a KILLER. • Ground-breaking mentlism techniques touch only the tip of the iceburg known as Tagged.Once you've mastered the basics it's time for you to kick your creative juices into high gear. The potential of Tagged is literally exponential.
In this DVD you'll explore multiple street performances and break-downs by Rich in highlighted detail. By the time you are finished you'll be able to tag anyone with predictions, reveals, book test effects, and your phone number - ANYTHING! Psychological tips, NLP and interactive tests are included to enhance any of your mentalism. All reputation makers. From Rich Ferguson: I'm not kidding that if I was to go back in time and remove the knowledge of this material, I'd pay nearly anything for it. I've had a sweet career with this style, concepts and effects. There were too many ideas to add in for just one dvd Complete handling, set ups, reveals, outs and more are covered... Psychological tips, NLP and interactive tests are included to enhance any of your mentalism.
The best way to give this dvd full value is to include tons of ways to force, predict, read, gather info, manipulate, do psychological tests to enhance your experience, etc with a spectator. This, perhaps, should have been a set of DVDS. There are several original methods of deriving to or forcing a word or image that anyone would want regardless of the tagging part.
There are some real reputations makers that I've included- like my signature effect with the dictionary. When I was a finalist on Phenomenon, the producers and assistants told me that there were only 3 effects they have come across that really impress them. This is it. This type of stuff should have been saved for it's own DVD but we've included it to make this Tagged dvd a mentalist resource for all levels. The dictionary effect is sick... imagine telling one spectator to think of something, then have another riffle though a dictionary (even there own from a house), stop anywhere, then point at a freaking word... and that word they point to is the word the other person is thinking! Of course, the icing on the cake is that someone you pick is actually written on with the correct word as well. There is an effect/idea of having a Tagged person reveal a number and page to the location of a though of word in a dictionary... this is cool because it builds and is not a direct prediction.. seems impossible. Sort of like coin in bag, inside, box, inside another box, inside another box... the extra layer seems to make people go nuts.
MOST the DVD is focuses on reasons to predict and use tag... book tests, cold reading, etc.
I can't express enough how much of a reputation maker things like the dictionary effect are.... completely impromptu prediction. There is a newspaper effect I think is original to me as well... it relies on a principle unique to how newspapers are often folded to force a page- again, was worth it's own DVD in a way but included because I use it in conjunction with Tagged all the time. The typical finger breaks, key pages, miscalls, etc are also included with some tips. There are several psychological tests and ways of starting and ending the effects that are good with or without the Tagging.
His effect is absolutely mindblowing. I used the method to have a spectator think of a word, have it appear on their arm, and then have it also be on everyone in the room's arm. It has been one of the greatest moments I have ever had in performing magic. - Matt Sconce - Creator of Spin and Power Word Fall
