As magicians we've all see the 'Pen Through Anything' effect. It's a killer effect that can be done almost anywhere, anytime. But at the same time, as magicians, we've all misplaced our 'pen through anything' at one time or another.
You borrow a £5 note (any currency note/bill works fine) and have someone sign a post it note that is placed in the center of the note. The £5 noteis folded in half and a pencil is visibly pushed through the note and the post-it, and both sides of the note are shown. You can HEAR the ripping noise as it happens. The pencil is pulled out, the note unfolded and handed out for inspection. The impossible part of this effect is seen when the post-it is removed from the £5 note . The note has healed itself, there is no hole, but a hole is clearly seen in the post-it note. True Magic.
Jay has recreated the effect, to be used with a borrowed note, a borrowed pencil, and if you wanted to go that extra mile, you could even borrow the post it note.
