Andrew Mayne, creator of Gut Buster and ghostbills, presents a 21st century paranormal effect. Using an unprepared borrowed camera phone the magician reveals spectral images of ghosts and premonitions from beyond.
Your spectators watch the display as a dark silhouette crosses the room in real time. A thought of word, image or card appears in a photograph of a spectator’s hand. A haunted face appears in the shadows.

"I just got mine today and tried it out already tonight. The reaction was worthy of an episode of "Ghosthunters". I was doing Roth's "Pawnshop". That went over so well I tied it into "Homicide". I asked for the girl's mobile phone. I said that I felt something peculiar and wanted to check the surroundings. After I took the picture, the image was right there on the screen. It was so creepy that she started crying and put her hand over her mouth... I got the shivers too when she saw that ghost image on the cell phone and reacted. I didn't even have the opportunity to make the image move across the screen. Under the circumstances, it's probably a good thing. I think that I over did it. Careful with this stuff." - johnjnesbit

Production Quality: 8/10 (Sound gets harsh at times and I have very good quality harmon/kardon speakers on my notebook, other than that its great)
Gimmick/Personalization/Application: 10/10 Andrew has worked out the handling of the gimmick in the routine to perfection and ease. The DVD comes with gimmicks that allow you to produce haunting graphics/movies like the ones seen in the demo. He also explains how you can produce custom gimmicks with exceptional ease.
Method/Explanation: 9/10 Andrew breaks down every single step of the routine and you should be able to perform this on common camera phones accurately after a dozen practice sessions. There is only one sleight involved (and its not even a real sleight) The routine may be difficult with certain types of camera phones but most phones will produce the desired effect.
Creativity: 11/10 In my opinion this effect is worth so much because no one has come up with this kind of material to be used in a modern setting. If you perform this in the correct atmosphere, Im not kidding, you will literally scare the sh**t out of spectators. Combine it with a OUIJA session or another bizarre routine and people will definitely be freaked out for days.....
OVERALL: 9/10 This effect is a winner when performed in the right conditions with an effective presentation. - Nadeem
