AN IDEA FOR COIN UNIQUE

Here is a little performance that you can use with the coin unique. The main
workings are taken from an idea from Bobo's Modern coin magic, but updated
slightly for use with this set, creating a much more visual and shocking
effect....


Effect:

The performer asks the spectator "what is ten divided by two?" As he does so
he shows a ten pence balanced on the very tip of his left fore finger, and a
two pence in the same position on his right finger tip.
"5 is the answer"... and the magician brings his hands together, and passes
the ten pence under the two pence, from left to right, and then back into
the left hand, this time passing over the top of the copper coin...... "ten
divided by two is five"... and with that the ten pence visibly changes into
a five pence piece as it passes under the the copper coin. Both hands are
left clean.


Set Up:
I use the 2p 10p coin unique, made by Eddie Gibson. You also need a 5p
piece..

Seperate the 10p from the 2p and hide a 5p under the 2p shell....


Performance:
Show the coins balanced on your finger tips, as above... doing so will say
that your hands are unmistakably empty bar the coins in each hand..

Now, after recieving an answer... simply bring the hands closer together,
fingers relaxed and apart to show that nothing is being hidden.... and in
full view pass the 10p under the 2p (and 5p)and then back over to the left
hand... again and again.

After the thrd pass, simply allow the 5p to drop a little, lettingt he 10p
pass underneath and snap into the shell.... continue the motion as you bring
the 5p out in it's place as you rotate the faces of the 2p to show your
hands clean.....
