PROXIMITY EFFECTS RELEASED

The new book by Dee Christopher 'Proximity Effects' has now launched.

Dee Christopher is making a name for himself in the magic 'underground' with his brand of mental and visual magic. Proximity Effects is a collection of powerful card routines that range from visual card magic like Deviance - a visual pip through window whereby a pip from a signed card penetrates a glass window; to the more dark and eery side of mental magic with effects like Cold - the telethesia cards. In Cold you divine a card that the spectator has merely looked at from a shuffled deck. Dee also teaches you his method for his impromptu book test - Words that go unspoken, and a clever idea for when you just can't make the spoon bend (anyone who has indulged in a bit of spoon bending will know what we mean!) None of the routines are 'technically' hard so you can concentrate on your presentation which is important when performing magic or mentalism of this calibre.

RE-LABELLED RELEASED

Ben Williams has now finished working on his follow up project to his smash hit street effect LABELLED. With Labelled a lable from a drinks bottle is rubbed and it magically passes through the side of the bottle, even though the lable has writing in it AND the bottle is still 100% sealed.

The follow up project is an add on DVD or download that teaches many new ideas and presentations for the original effect, as well as some other ideas to help you with the performance.

There will be different ideas for the penetration including 2 visual penetrations that require no cover whatsoever, the hands-off penetration where the spectator is holding the bottle when the penetration occurs and Ben also teaches a handling for the penetration that world renowned magician and conman Gregory Wilson came up with when Ben showed him Re-Labelled at a lecture!

But it doesn't stop there! The new set up allows the bottle to be viewable from all angles prior to the effect taking place, allowing you to make it seem as impromptu as you like! Ben also teaches 2 bottle productions to help you begin your performance of Labelled with a BANG!

Well, the shop fitters are finally finished, and we have stocked the shelves of our new magic shop. Open to magicians of all ages and abilities wishing to take advantage of our teams expert advice and extensive range of professional magic. Through May we are open Monday to friday. Next month Paul Knight (creator of Dual Cyclone and Figure to Die For) joins the team and we will be open on Saturdays too.

by the prestigious Magic Woods Awards.

BACK FROM BLACKPOOL

We had a great time at the Blackpool Convention. It's nice to meet many of the regular customers we talk to so often but don't get a chance to meet up with. Ben Williams agrees with me, that the highlight was watching a great guy by the name of Jordan effortlessly doing an IMPOSSIBLE one handed colour change, late at night in the Ruskin which fried everyone OVER AND OVER again!

Ben spent most of the weekend demonstrating 'Labelled' and going over the alternative handlings and finer presentation points of that killer effect. We were bowled over by the level of great feedback from performers using 'Pressure' and our 'Ninja Coin' range, It's great to see how people have expanded the routines and moved both effects on to new levels.

We did quite a few deals over the weekend, with magicians looking to launch their new magic creations. Over the coming months we will working with the inventors to develop the material into a range of effects I know you will get a real kick from!


Whats New
