Wanted

The magician displays a standard deck of cards and 3 cards are selected by the spectators. One of the cards is signed by a spectator, hole-punched and handcuffed to a nearby wine glass.

The second card, e.g. the 10 of hearts , is signed front and back and trapped under the base of the empty glass. (The signature on the back is seen throughout the routine.)

The third signed 'Criminal Card' escapes into the deck! Two 'Policeman Cards' are inserted to find it. After an entertaining card chase, the Magician spreads the deck on the table and the missing card is trapped between the Policemen!

When turned over, the trapped card is found to be the card that was signed and HANDCUFFED to the wine glass, yet that has been in full view the entire time!

So does this means an innocent card is locked onto the handcuffs? No! The handcuffed card is far from innocent!�the spectators discover that the card locked to the handcuffs is the 'Criminal Card' that they saw ESCAPE into the pack!!

The card trapped under the base of the wine glass, with the signature still visible on the back, is turned over by the spectators.

To their surprise instead of being signed, the face of the card is now blank with the words 'Wanted 10 of Hearts ' in bold letters! Resting in the bowl of the wineglass, folded into quarters is the original '10 of hearts'. When removed by the spectators and unfolded, the original signature is there on the face. The spectators could swear the glass was empty just seconds before..!

Wanted! leaves a very strong impression on spectators. The engaging story, build up of surprise revelations and killer ending make it a perfect way to close any card act. It�s perfect for performance to a whole group of spectators or just a few, in an intimate close-up setting. When you see the faces of the spectators when the missing signed card is found in the wineglass, you will understand just what a reputation maker this effect is!

The first thing that hits you is the professionalism of the trick, coming with everything you need to perform it and best of all a really helpful instruction booklet. Far too many tricks come with naff instructions that take a while to work out. Not here!

THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE IN DEPTH AND VERY VERY CLEAR. Plenty of photos showing step-by-step handling and a commentry throughout providing you with an excellent storyline to tell. The bonus was that in a number of places throughout the booklet it's not just indicated where you can do you own thing, but two or three possible techniques are suggested, make it much easier to find the most comfortable routine for yourself.

So far I've only performed this trick to family and a couple of friends (have only had it a few days!) but when I've got the storyline, without needing the book in front of me, and handling down to a tee this will definitely be used at my gigs.
