This effect by Stephen Tucker (I’m not describing the effect as it’s well known, however, you can familiarise yourself with it by visiting Stephen’s website), is based on Phil Goldstein’s famous 'B'Wave'. The plot has been varied by magicians such as Duvlvier, Bannon, et al. However, all of the previous incarnations have had one or more inherent flaws in that none of them were examinable, as they were all gaffed up to the hilt. Omega solves this problem beautifully and allows you to create the same effect without the need for any gaffs at all!
The effect is a very powerful one; clean, direct, surprising, builds well and has a totally baffling denouncement. You will love it!
You receive a single page personalised (you are addressed by name, which is a nice touch) instruction sheet plus the cards required to perform the effect. The instructions are very clear and assuming you can read, you should have no problem understanding the mechanics or routining.
You are required to carry out a little sleight of hand, but there's only two sleights and they're simple enough to do so should prove no problem to those who have travelled down that well known royal road laid out by Hugard and Braue.
I can see a lot of people feeling slightly duped when they buy this as there are no blue peteresque 'here's one I made earlier' cards with flaps, sticky pads and double indexes. You simply get a routine and 8 normal cards. However, this is without a doubt the best packet trick I've ever bought. It's brilliant, pick one up and I'm sure you'll draw the same conclusion as me.
