Pulling it free with his hand, the performer realizes there is something written on it. He shows the audience that what is written on the piece of paper is: “Beware of the anvil.” At the same time, from behind the paper, a solid 20 lb. Anvil falls onto the floor with a resounding THUD! Yes, the Anvil is very solid and very real.
The Anvil is a replica of an iron Anvil - which usually weighs about 20 lb., but it is made entirely of aluminum instead, so its actual weight is under six pounds.
