The quality and durability of these playing cards really stand out with this deck. A vital tool to help you learn magic tricks with playing cards. As every deck of bicycle playing cards has an air cushioned finish they are smooth to use and lend themselves perfectly to sleight of hand card magic routines.
What Merchant of Magic says:
There is a reason bicycle playing cards are sold the world over and used by so many magicians who perform card magic. It is because they are, without question, the most widely used cards for magicians around the world. They are of a very high quality and they handle well in practically all performing conditions (heavy rain is not good for any playing card!). Bicycle playing cards are perfect for card magic routines that finish with the spectator's playing card being folded, torn and restored or permanently sealed inside an impossible object. Available in several different colour backs, the cards work well for colour change effects too.
The decks are manufactured in the united states bu the United States Playing Card Company.
Firstly: Difficulty rating for a deck of cards; should be N/A. After all, depends if you're doing flightless magic in which case they're easy or you could be doing very tricky sleights and cardistry taking years to perfect - in which case they're difficult! Right?? :-D
These cards handle very well and are of high and consistent quality. The finish and printing are excellent. The deck obviously needs breaking in like any other pack of cards but it's easily done with a few riffle shuffles and rubbing the cut edges a few times over a pair of jeans is all it really takes. I've tried other decks but always come back to Bicycle - it's the standard magic deck for a reason.
They handle very well. The quality is good for the price. The edges could be a bit smoother and they could stick together a bit more, at least that's how I feel. But I am a beginner, so what do I know?
These Bicycle Playing Cards are the official paper stock cards. They are used by magicians worldwide as the 'standard' playing cards for magicians. Bicycle do also make a plastic version, but these ones are the normal 'pasteboards'.
