Ha ha, simple, effective and funny. No dud routines, nothing complicated, beautifully thought out, and the pen works just like normal. The suspended ring is fantastic, the static charge is the work of genius. If this is typical of Russian magic, I can't wait for more. When watching the repair instructions, I was reminded of the legend of getting ready American aircraft for spy duty in the middle of winter and climate controlled hangars and stuff. The Russians apparently went outside and climbed up on the wings and swept the snow off with a broom and their aircraft were effective. The repair insructions are ludicrously easy. I like it. Going in my pocket for the works Xmas do and probably a few others!
Was it as I expected? Answer no. After the initial shock (sic) I started to warm to the effect.
I know now how it works and I have gone through most of the routines. I have to agree with the other reviewer that I hate "set up" but you either use them or you don't. I guess its me really as I am what you call a "lazy magician" I like things straight out of the box that work but don't take work if you get what I mean!
I love the idea of the product and I think it is one I WILL carry with me as people will say to me "show me that trick so and so told me about"!
Price wise good from the Merchant of Magic guys!
I am sure that anyone who buys this will use it for a long time and WILL carry it around all the time in their pocket as it is ready to go.
Seven routines are taught, not brilliantly.
The paper stab is very poor. The card revelation is ok but I don’t see myself using it. The bill or ring jumping off the pen is visually startling but for me, the electric shock illusion is PERFECT! Just try it on yourself to see how convincing it is! This alone is worth the price. The Sharpie looks just as it should and can be used by the spectator to sign a card etc. They even give you supplies to make more of these gimmicks, so this is a purchase that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend it.
